Robert ReochRobert Reoch has over 20 years of experience in finance, and has been involved in the credit derivatives market since 1994. He took a pioneering role as part of the team that set up J.P. Morgan's European credit derivative business, and has since been influential in the growth and development of the global credit derivatives market. In addition to originating and structuring transactions, Robert has been an active spokesperson and contributed to the early development of the legal and regulatory framework of the market. After 3 years building J.P. Morgan's credit derivatives business, Robert moved on to Nomura International where he was made head of credit derivatives with a mandate for rolling out the global business. Robert subsequently joined Bank of America, where he was appointed global head of credit derivatives in 1997. In response to the growing demand for independent advice on the credit derivatives industry, Robert set up Reoch Credit Partners in 2001. Robert has also been called as an expert witness in a number of credit derivative-related disputes. He holds a degree in Chinese Studies and Law from Cambridge University.
